About The Position
We have an immediate job opening for a Field Service Technician with experience in Industrial Maintenance, preferably on Large Gas and/or Air Compressor systems. This role requires travel throughout the week with some weekends at home. The position offers paid travel time, a guaranteed 40-hour work week, paid overtime, expenses, and per diem.
Requirements
- Experience in Industrial Maintenance, preferably on Large Gas and/or Air Compressor systems.
- Experience working on palletizers, depalletizers, fillers, cappers, mixers, robotics, blow or injection molding machinery for 2-10 years.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read schematics.
- PLC troubleshooting aptitude.
- Aptitude to learn necessary field operations and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to deal with executive management and operators equally professionally.
- Calm, non-combative temperament.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment without compromising efficiency and accuracy.
- Computer literate.
- Good command of the English language: speak, read and write.
- Ability to work very well under pressure.
- Ability to leave for a remote intervention at a moment's notice and stay until the job is completed at site.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with reciprocating compressors.
- Knowledge and strong operational know-how on specific machinery like palletizers, depalletizers, fillers, cappers, mixers, robotics, blow or injection molding machinery.
Responsibilities
- Perform industrial maintenance, ideally on reciprocating compressors.
- Operate and troubleshoot machinery such as palletizers, depalletizers, fillers, cappers, mixers, robotics, blow or injection molding machinery.
- Conduct strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Read schematics.
- Troubleshoot PLCs.
- Learn necessary skills for field operations and problem-solving.
- Perform each essential duty satisfactorily as listed in the Job Description.
- Deal with executive management and operators professionally.
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment without compromising efficiency and accuracy.
- Work under pressure.
- Leave for remote interventions at a moment's notice and stay until the job is completed at site.
