About The Position
OTC Industrial Technologies is hiring a Field Service Technician to service compressed air systems and other rotating equipment in the Greater Toledo Area. The technician will perform hands-on troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance while helping customers improve equipment reliability and efficiency. The role includes responding to urgent and emergency service calls, completing service reports, maintaining a stocked service vehicle, and building customer relationships. OTC provides a company vehicle, operational support, ongoing technical training, and opportunities for career advancement. The position offers an hourly wage of $25.00 to $40.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Mechanical aptitude; multi-craft experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently on routine tasks and as part of a team on more complex work.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
- Physical ability to lift equipment, work in various environments, and sit, stand, and bend for extended periods.
- Coachability and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
- Diagnose equipment issues and recommend solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Identify and sell repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
- Complete accurate service reports and maintain compliance.
- Keep the service vehicle stocked with tools and parts.
- Respond to urgent and emergency service calls to minimize downtime.
- Represent OTC professionally and build strong customer relationships.
- Follow safety protocols and stay current through ongoing training.
- Be flexible and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
