Field Service Mechanic
About The Position
MasterTech is seeking a Field Service Mechanic in the St. Louis, Missouri area. The role involves maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing specialized utility vehicles in a field service environment. Factory and OEM training is offered upon hire. Candidates with backgrounds working on heavy trucks, heavy equipment, or utility vehicles such as sweepers, refuse or garbage trucks, and snow plows are preferred. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime available. Compensation is $35.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experience, certifications, and education. A service truck and gas card are included for field service openings.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
- A degree in Diesel Technology or as a Diesel Technician, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- CDL A or CDL B.
