About The Position

Salvo Software is seeking a driven, personable Outside Sales Representative to be the face of the company in the field. This role focuses on identifying businesses that could benefit from custom software solutions, building genuine relationships, and connecting potential clients with the Salvo Software team. The ideal candidate is energized by networking, enjoys great conversations, and has a knack for spotting opportunities. This is not a software engineering role, but rather a connector position focused on relationship building and sales. Requirements

  • Proven sales experience, including managing a pipeline, hitting targets, and moving deals forward.
  • Hands-on HubSpot experience, including lead management and pipeline tracking.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable in various settings including boardrooms, networking events, and cold calls.
  • Self-starter mentality, capable of owning one's own schedule and strategy.
  • Comfort with a performance-driven compensation structure.

Responsibilities

  • Network by attending industry events, meetups, and conferences to build local and regional networks and establish Salvo Software in new markets.
  • Prospect and conduct cold outreach to identify businesses ready for a technology partner and make a compelling case for Salvo Software.
  • Lead initial discovery conversations to understand prospect needs and collaborate with architects to propose fitting long-term solutions.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to develop proposals and manage the relationship through to closing.
  • Maintain a clean and current pipeline in HubSpot, track activity, and report on performance.
  • Nurture client relationships even after a deal is closed to foster long-term partnerships.
