About The Position

Hancock Claims Consultants provides ladder-assist and property inspection services in collaboration with insurance agencies. Field Roof Inspectors work as independent contractors within the company’s nationwide network, inspecting steep and high roofs, evaluating exterior and interior property damage, and conducting underwriting property inspections. Inspectors use technology to assess damage and help prevent additional harm until permanent repairs are completed. The role requires safe roof navigation and the ability to conduct inspections in varied weather conditions.

Requirements

• Must have a reliable truck, van, or SUV capable of transporting and carrying at least a 32-foot ladder.
• Must have a LiDAR-equipped device or be able to obtain one, such as an iPad Pro or iPhone 12 Pro or newer.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Teams.
• Ability to obtain any certifications or credentials required to join the contractor pool.
• Ability to complete inspections safely in varied weather conditions.
• Professionalism, attention to detail, strong customer service skills, empathy when dealing with insureds, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Nice To Haves

• Roofing or construction-related background and/or insurance claims experience.
• HAAG Certification.
