About The Position

Hancock Claims Consultants provides ladder-assist and property inspection services in collaboration with insurance agencies. The company offers nationwide claims inspections and supports claims resolution, including catastrophe response and direct inspections.

As a Roof Field Inspector, you will work as an independent contractor conducting assessments on steep and high roofs, evaluating exterior and interior damage, and performing underwriting property inspections. Using inspection technology, you will help assess property damage and prevent further harm until permanent repairs are completed.

Requirements

• Must have a reliable truck, van, or SUV capable of transporting and carrying at least a 32-foot ladder.
• Must have a LiDAR-equipped device or be able to obtain one, such as an iPad Pro or iPhone 12 Pro or newer.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Teams.
• Ability to obtain any certifications or credentials required to join the contractor pool.
• Ability to safely navigate and inspect any type of roof, including steep and high roofs.
• Technical ability to complete inspections in varied weather conditions.
• Professionalism, attention to detail, strong customer service skills, empathy when dealing with insureds, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Nice To Haves

• Roofing or construction-related background and/or insurance claims experience.
• HAAG Certification.
