About The Position

Rite Rug is hiring a motivated, detail-oriented Field Representative. The role is primarily outside the office, inspecting homes and projects before, during, and after installations. The representative checks job readiness, monitors installation work, verifies completion, and follows up on outstanding items. The role also involves field measuring and reviewing work orders to ensure the correct quantities of materials are ordered and available for every installation. The listed salary range is $48,000 to $55,000 per year, based on experience, plus a mileage agreement.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Commitment to safety in all work practices.
Ability to work independently and solve problems.
Ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and insurance.
Reliable vehicle for travel to job sites.
Must pass a drug test and be subject to random testing.

Nice To Haves

Flooring installation experience is a plus.
Construction experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

Communicate daily with customers and project managers.
Drive between job sites, planning and prioritizing each day.
Schedule work efficiently.
Determine the best method for installations and repairs.
Ensure jobs are completed to the customer’s satisfaction.
Respond to complaints or questions regarding installations.
Pick up and deliver materials as necessary.
Inspect homes and projects before, during, and after installations; check job readiness and monitor installation work.
Field measure and review work orders to verify material quantities and coverage for installation areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
