About The Position

Rite Rug is hiring a motivated, detail-oriented Field Representative. The role primarily takes place outside the office, inspecting homes and projects before, during, and after installations. The representative checks job readiness, monitors installers, verifies that work is completed, and addresses outstanding details. They also field-measure and review work orders to ensure the correct material quantities are ordered and available for every installation. The posted salary is $40,000–$50,000 per year, with the description also stating $45,000–$50,000 per year plus a mileage agreement; salary is based on experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Commitment to safety in all work practices.
Ability to work independently and solve problems.
Ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and insurance.
Reliable vehicle for travel to job sites.
Must pass a drug test and be subject to random testing.

Nice To Haves

Flooring installation experience is a plus.
Construction experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

Communicate with customers and project managers daily.
Drive between job sites, planning and prioritizing each day.
Schedule work efficiently.
Determine the best methods for installations and repairs.
Ensure jobs are completed to the customer’s satisfaction.
Respond to complaints or questions regarding installations.
Pick up and deliver materials as necessary.
Inspect projects before, during, and after installations; check job readiness and monitor installers.
Field-measure and check work orders to confirm that appropriate material quantities are ordered and available.
Perform other duties as assigned.
