About The Position

Rite Rug is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Field Representative. The role primarily takes place outside the office, inspecting homes and projects before, during, and after installations. The representative checks job readiness, monitors installation work, verifies completion, and follows up on outstanding items. The role also includes field measuring and reviewing work orders to confirm that the correct quantities of materials have been ordered and are available for each installation. The position is based in Strongsville, Ohio, and is full time. The stated salary range is $48,000 to $56,000 per year, based on experience, plus a mileage agreement.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Commitment to safety in all work practices.
Ability to work independently and solve problems.
Ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and insurance.
Reliable vehicle for travel to job sites.
Must pass a drug test and be subject to random testing.

Nice To Haves

Flooring installation experience is a plus.
Construction experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

Communicate with customers and project managers daily.
Drive between job sites, planning and prioritizing each day.
Schedule work efficiently.
Determine the best method for installations and repairs.
Ensure jobs are completed to the customer’s satisfaction.
Respond to complaints or questions regarding installations.
Pick up and deliver materials as necessary.
Inspect homes and projects before, during, and after installations; check readiness and installation progress, verify completion, and follow up on outstanding items.
Field measure and review work orders to verify material quantities and coverage for installations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
