About The Position

Rite Rug is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Field Representative. The role is primarily outside the office, inspecting homes and projects before, during, and after installations. The representative checks job readiness and installation progress, verifies that work is completed, and addresses outstanding items. They also field-measure projects and review work orders to confirm that the correct quantities of materials have been ordered and are available for installation areas.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Commitment to safety in all work practices.
Ability to work independently and solve problems.
Ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and insurance.
Reliable vehicle for travel to job sites.
Ability to pass a drug test and submit to random testing.

Nice To Haves

Flooring installation experience.
Construction experience.

Responsibilities

Communicate daily with customers and project managers.
Drive between job sites, planning and prioritizing each day.
Schedule work efficiently.
Determine the best method for installations and repairs.
Ensure jobs are completed to the customer’s satisfaction.
Respond to complaints or questions regarding installations.
Pick up and deliver materials as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Inspect homes and projects before, during, and after installations; check job readiness and installation progress; and address outstanding items.
Field-measure projects and check work orders to verify that materials are correctly ordered and sufficient for installation areas.
