About The Position

While representing Stryker you will be responsible for the distribution of products/services for our representatives and customers. This role involves preparing, shipping, and receiving products, ensuring timely delivery of sets and pick up/return of loaner sets, and fielding customer questions. You will also be responsible for kit inspections, processing orders, working with internal resources for alternative product sourcing, maintaining account records, and setting up the warehouse for incoming and outgoing surgery equipment. Collaboration with distribution, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel is key, as is coordinating drivers and routes. You will maintain records on stock usage and damage, track inventory for expiration dates, inform customers of shipment status, and handle urgent requests. Accurate inventory tracking, record keeping, and warehouse cycle counting are essential. Cross-training with other positions within distribution is required to fulfill on-call rotation needs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Valid Driver’s license with good driving record
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree
  • Experience in a hospital, medical device, healthcare, or sterile processing environment.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, implants, surgical instruments, or healthcare operations.
  • Experience with inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience supporting on-call, after-hours, or customer-facing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, ship, and receive products
  • Ensure timely delivery of sets and pick up/return loaner sets
  • Field customer questions and direct to appropriate branch personnel
  • Check inventory records to determine availability of requested products
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Responsible for kit inspections and process orders for products
  • Work with internal resources for alternative product sourcing (e.g. loaner bank, other warehouses, consignments)
  • Maintain account records, signing, reporting, and filing/scanning documents
  • Cycle count activities
  • Set up and organize the warehouse for incoming and outgoing surgery equipment
  • Confer with distribution, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace deliveries
  • Coordinate drivers and routes for shipments
  • Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment, inventory for expiration dates, etc.
  • Inform customers of receipt, shipping, and delays; handling urgent requests and ensuring shipments are complete for delivery and processing returns
  • Responsible for accurate inventory tracking and record keeping, warehouse inventory cycle counting and optimizing inventory utilization
  • Cross-training with other positions within distribution to fulfill on-call rotation needs
