About The Position

The Field Operations Analyst supports the successful delivery of construction projects through data-driven forecasting and performance analysis. This role works closely with construction managers, projects managers, finance and supply chain to optimize labour and resource plans and cost performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in labour analytics and operations analysis in a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Must have experience building labour forecasts.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization/tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar).
  • Ability to interpret trends and translate complex data into clear insights for business leaders.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑managementskills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain labour forecasts based on project demands (project scopes, schedule, productivity, and business assumptions).
  • Analyze labour capacity, utilization, overtime, and staffing gaps across field operations.
  • Support short‑term and long‑term labour planning, including headcount modelling and scenario analysis.
  • Monitor labour cost variances and productivity trends; identify drivers and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize staffing levels, shift structures, scheduling, and deployment.
  • Consolidate data from project management, scheduling, and financial systems to support decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with construction managers, project managers, finance, and site supervisors to support integrated planning and decision-making; visit job sites regularly, to obtain productivity updates.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating project outcomes and planning effectiveness.
  • All other duties as required.
