About The Position

The Field Operations personnel represent Ulterra Drilling Technologies in an ethical and professional manner while supporting Field Sales teams to meet customer demands. This includes roles such as Sales Support Associate, Field Sales Representative, and Field Sales Engineer. These positions are crucial for maintaining customer relationships, ensuring efficient operations, and driving revenue growth within the oil and gas industry.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of sales or related experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to navigate maps and use GPS technology
  • Basic reading and writing proficiency
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in field sales or related oilfield experience.
  • Must have a state-issued driver’s license and be eligible to drive a Company vehicle, including ability to meet requirements of Company's Vehicle Use Agreement and Driving Policy.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically related to drilling operations or PDC drill bit sales.
  • Knowledge of drilling applications, bit design, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry software and tools for drilling data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Ulterra Drilling Technologies in an ethical and professional manner.
  • Support Field Sales teams to meet customer demands.
  • Handle inventory and perform field deliveries.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain high safety and service standards in a fast-paced, on-call environment.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Support revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Act as the primary interface between Ulterra and its customers at the wellsite.
  • Provide accurate, real-time feedback and insights to internal teams.
  • Support the technical sales and product innovation of PDC drill bits.
  • Interact directly with customers.
  • Perform detailed drilling application analysis.
  • Provide on-site support.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of products to ensure maximum drilling performance.
  • Serve as a critical link between customers, the sales team, and the engineering team.
