The Field Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores, serving as the face of Hallmark while building relationships with store teams and showcasing strong organization and time-management skills. The role maintains Hallmark product displays and inventory, works with store teams to optimize product placement, and may occasionally support other companies’ products in serviced stores. The position is part-time, averaging 9–12 hours per week on a variable weekday schedule. Workload can increase around major holidays, during seasonal changeovers, and for extended services, installations, and inventory support. Availability during the week before and after major holidays is required and may include weekends. Certain holidays may themselves require work. Department resets and remodel projects may involve evening or weekend work, and remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance. Hallmark provides paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. The starting pay rate is $12.00–$14.00, depending on skills and experience.
