The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is hiring a Field Enumerator to collect crop and livestock information from farm and ranch operators and agricultural industry representatives. Data is collected through phone and in-person interviews and is used to produce agricultural estimates for producers, buyers, and state and federal governments. This is a part-time, intermittent position with flexible days and hours. Enumerators need to be available when work is needed; the job cannot be done only at night or on weekends. Most surveys are voluntary for operators, and rejection is part of the job. All training is provided, and an iPad is provided for work.
