As a Field Engineering Sr Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of multiple VLS customers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring MK 41 VLS equipment is maintained and tested to the stringent VLS requirements to maintain US National Security.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science
- 5+ years of related experience
- Secret security clearance level
- US citizenship required
- Maintain a active and fluid relationship with the VLS customers

Responsibilities
- Manage over 20 direct reports in the day to day operations of the VLS shipbard and VLS production.
- Collaborate with mulitple GDIT departments such as Quality Assurance, Security, Weld Shop, Painting Shop and outside vendors/subcontractors.
- Drive schedules and manage the work force to successfully meet multiple contract milestones.
- Utilize experience as VLS Test Director to enusre must current and correct VLS poliocies and procedures are being followed.
- Maintain a fluid relationship with the VLS PEO and VLS ISEA.
