About The Position
As a Field Engineering Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of multiple VLS Customers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring MK 41 VLS equipment is maintained and tested to the stringent VLS requirements to maintain US National Security.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science
- 5+ years of related experience
- Secret security clearance level
- US citizenship required
- Maintain an active and fluid relationship with the VLS customers

Responsibilities
- Lead over 15 direct reports in the day to day operations of the VLS production.
- Collaborate with GDIT departments such as Quality Assurance, Security, Weld Shop, Painting Shop and outside vendors/subcontractors
- Drive schedules and manage the work force to successfully meet multiple contract milestones.
- Utilize VLS System Maintenance Technician to ensure must current and correct VLS policies and procedures are being followed.
