About The Position

Titan Machinery is seeking a Case IH Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, maintain, and prepare diesel machinery for delivery. The role covers customer equipment, internal units, and warranty repairs, with work performed in the shop or in the field. Assigned work must be completed safely, professionally, and efficiently. The position includes customer-facing field service, which may involve weekend and after-hours calls, travel, and occasional overnight stays.

Requirements

At least 2 years of related experience, or an associate's degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or a related program.
At least 1 year of successfully completing tasks with limited supervision.
Clean driving record.
Must have own tools.
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Certification.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including occasional overnight stays, and perform 50% or more of work offsite/in the field.
Ability to work flexible/on-call hours.
Keen attention to detail, high initiative, and ability to work independently.
Exceptional documentation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and recondition machine systems and components according to manufacturer specifications.
Provide professional, timely, and courteous field service as directed by the Service Manager, including potential weekend and after-hours service calls.
Communicate findings, repair needs, and expected timelines clearly with equipment owners, operators, and the service team.
Request, install, and manage parts and supplies needed for equipment repairs.
Complete work orders and required service documentation accurately and on time.
Participate in ongoing professional and technical training to maintain current product knowledge and service capabilities.
Recommend maintenance, upgrades, and solutions that add customer value and improve equipment performance.
Follow safety rules, policies, and regulations while performing work assignments.
