About The Position

Join the Titan Machinery team as a Case Construction Diesel Mechanic, providing diagnostic, repair, reconditioning, and maintenance services for diesel machinery. The role involves delivering high-quality, efficient workmanship in accordance with manufacturer specifications and communicating clearly with the Service Manager, service team, and customers about findings, repair needs, and timelines. The mechanic participates in ongoing product and technical training, identifies opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and department profitability, and follows all applicable safety rules, policies, and regulations. Requirements

At least 2 years of related experience, or an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or a related program.
Ability to travel to offsite training facilities as needed.
Must have own tools.
Keen attention to detail, a high level of initiative, and ability to work independently.
Exceptional documentation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and recondition machine systems and components according to manufacturer specifications.
Communicate findings, repair needs, and expected timelines to the Service Manager, service team, and customers in a clear, professional, timely, and courteous manner.
Participate in ongoing professional and technical training to maintain current product knowledge and service capabilities.
Identify customer service opportunities and recommend solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and support department profitability.
Follow safety rules, policies, and regulations while performing work assignments.
