The Field Data Specialist independently travels to commercial properties such as shopping centers, warehouses, and office parks to collect and document accurate property data. The role involves driving or flying to sites, taking measurements, capturing photographs and other data, and entering information using specialized software. Documentation includes building measurements; sprinkler and HVAC locations; windows, signage, and landscaping; utility meters, dumpsters, and parking details; and other interior and exterior features. The specialist coordinates with property managers to gather access information and communicate appointment and arrival times. Communication is generally brief and remote, but the specialist must proactively contact the Regional Manager and ask trainers, mentors, and peers questions when needed. This is a 100% travel role, with most travel regional and travel typically scheduled Monday through Friday; employees are home most weekends. The position offers substantial autonomy and the ability to organize much of the daily schedule. The company provides the equipment needed for the work and covers major travel expenses, including lodging, fuel, meals, and mileage. The company also offers sponsored drone training, covers certification costs, and provides equipment for the opportunity to earn an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification. There is potential for growth, mentoring others, and movement to other departments based on field performance.
