About The Position

ID Plans is hiring a Field Data Specialist for a 100% travel role documenting commercial properties such as shopping centers, warehouses, and office parks. The position involves independently driving or flying to sites, gathering precise property data, taking measurements, and entering information using technology and specialized tools. Documentation includes building measurements; sprinkler and HVAC locations; windows, signage, landscaping, utility meters, dumpsters, parking details, and other interior and exterior features. The role offers substantial autonomy and the ability to structure much of the daily schedule. Travel is mostly regional, with out-of-state travel Monday through Friday and the employee home most weekends. Major travel expenses, including lodging, fuel, meals, and mileage, are covered. Communication is generally brief, remote, and professional, including arranging property access and proactively contacting the Regional Manager, trainers, mentors, or peers when needed. The position suits someone comfortable working independently outdoors in all weather, using technology, following detailed instructions, and climbing ladders up to 30 feet. ID Plans provides the equipment and paid training. The company describes opportunities for growth, mentoring others, and potential movement into other departments after demonstrated success in the field.
