The Field Data Specialist independently travels to commercial properties such as shopping centers, warehouses, and office parks to gather and document accurate property data. The work includes measuring buildings and recording sprinkler and HVAC locations, windows, signage, landscaping, utility meters, dumpsters, parking details, and other interior and exterior features. The specialist uses 3D cameras, laser measurement tools, specialized software, and other supplied equipment, then enters the collected information and checks it for accuracy. This is a 100% travel role. Most travel is regional, and the employee can expect to be home most weekends. Travel is generally out of state Monday through Friday, with major travel expenses—including lodging, fuel, meals, and mileage—covered. The employee uses a reliable personal vehicle capable of carrying a 6-foot ladder and handling long-distance travel, or may travel by air. The role offers autonomy and flexibility in setting up much of the daily schedule, while requiring accurate, self-directed work and brief, clear professional communication with property managers, a Regional Manager, trainers, mentors, and peers. The position involves outdoor work in all weather conditions, climbing ladders up to 30 feet, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Equipment is provided. The company also offers paid training and the opportunity to receive company-sponsored drone training and earn an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification, with training, certification costs, and equipment supplied. Growth opportunities may include mentoring others or moving to other departments after demonstrated field success.
