About The Position

The Field Continuous Improvement role is responsible for driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across field‑based operations. This position partners closely with commercial, operations, and supply chain teams to identify improvement opportunities, implement standard work, and enhance efficiency, quality, and customer experience. The role has a direct impact on business performance by enabling scalable processes, reducing variation, and supporting sustainable improvements in the field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field
  • Typically requires 5–8 years of experience in continuous improvement, operations, or process improvement roles
  • Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence without direct authority
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, including experience leading workshops or improvement initiatives
  • Ability to travel regularly to support field‑based teams
  • English required

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience supporting field, commercial, or customer‑facing operations
  • Background in medical devices, healthcare, or other regulated industries
  • Experience with change management and process standardization
  • Familiarity with performance metrics, dashboards, and continuous improvement tools
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or similar credential
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identify, lead, and implement continuous improvement initiatives across field operations to improve efficiency, quality, and service outcomes.
  • Apply structured problem‑solving and continuous improvement methodologies to address performance gaps and operational challenges.
  • Partner with field leadership and cross‑functional teams to deploy standard work, best practices, and process improvements.
  • Analyze performance data, metrics, and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and measure impact.
  • Support change management efforts by engaging stakeholders, communicating progress, and reinforcing adoption of new processes.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and kaizen events to build continuous improvement capability in the field.
  • Document processes, improvements, and lessons learned to support knowledge sharing and sustainability.
