About The Position

TA Services is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive warehouse-wide deployment of Lean methodologies. This role involves developing engineered standards and KPIs, managing projects for cost savings and operational efficiencies, and providing solutions for warehouse processes, facility layouts, and WMS systems. The engineer will also serve as the site safety representative and support ISO certification efforts. The position operates in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and requires physical activity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required
  • Six Sigma knowledge preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in an Engineering or Continuous Improvement role preferred
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Experience developing KPIs and engineered labor standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, DAX, or C++ preferred
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Oracle, ASC Trac, HighJump)
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment selection and facility layout planning
  • Background in safety reporting and compliance preferred
  • Strong problem-solver with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator across all organizational levels
  • High stress tolerance and adaptability in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead warehouse-wide deployment of Lean methodologies including 5S, Kaizen, A3, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), problem solving, and layout optimization.
  • Create measurable performance standards, establish operational KPIs, and rigorously deploy metrics to drive accountability and improvement.
  • Identify improvement opportunities, coordinate resources, and manage projects to deliver measurable cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Provide solutions for warehouse processes, facility layouts, material handling equipment, and WMS systems (Oracle, ASC Trac, HighJump) based on activity levels and product flow.
  • Serve as site safety representative with corporate guidance, oversee safety reporting, maintain SOPs, and support ISO certification efforts.
