About The Position

This internship is designed to develop the intern into a broad technical expert who works with customer engineers and internal teams. The role teaches how functional product characteristics correlate to system-level requirements and provides experience with product selection, systems, implementation, and debugging in preparation for a career as a Field Applications Engineer. The position is based in Dallas, Texas. Texas Instruments will not sponsor applicants for visas or work authorization for this position.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
• Basic understanding of schematics, layouts, and digital components.
• Knowledge and understanding of analog circuitry, such as op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, and sensing.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, along with soldering and debugging skills.
• Programming skills in C/C++; LabView is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with proactive proposals for complete, system-level solutions that maximize TI content.
• Use sales tools and AI-driven platform recommendations to identify potential projects and high-priority accounts.
• Apply broad technical expertise to influence customers' part-selection process and position TI favorably against competitors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of TI's Digital Selling Systems by providing technical feedback on AI-generated signals and outreach effectiveness.
