About The Position

This internship is designed to develop the intern into a broad technical Texas Instruments expert who can work with customer engineers and internal teams. It provides experience connecting functional product characteristics to system-level requirements and building competency in product selection, systems, implementation, and debugging in preparation for a Field Applications Engineer career. The role is based in Dallas, Texas. Texas Instruments will not sponsor visa or work authorization applicants for this position.

Requirements

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
Basic understanding of schematics, layouts, and digital components.
Knowledge and understanding of analog circuitry, such as op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, or sensing.

Nice To Haves

Experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, along with soldering and debugging skills.
Programming skills in C/C++; LabView is recommended.

Responsibilities

Provide customers with proactive proposals for complete, system-level solutions that maximize TI content.
Use sales tools and AI-driven platform recommendations to identify potential projects and high-priority accounts.
Apply broad technical expertise to influence customers' part-selection process and favorably position TI against competitors.
Contribute to continuous improvement of TI's Digital Selling Systems by providing technical feedback on AI-generated signals and outreach effectiveness.
