About The Position

Perform manure-processing functions to produce a higher-quality product that meets Herbruck’s quality standards. The role involves operating and maintaining fertilizer machinery and processing equipment in a farm environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as assigned.
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Able to work comfortably around moving machinery.
Able to work in a farm environment with very dusty conditions.
Must not own or maintain routine contact with swine or birds.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Maintain and operate fertilizer machinery, including augers, conveyors, a rotary drum dryer, a bag house, a cyclone, and pellet mills.
Work on conveyance systems and operate equipment to process manure.
Lubricate and perform maintenance on equipment.
Operate heavy wheeled loaders, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
Clean and maintain equipment.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Comply with animal-welfare standards and report incidents of abuse, neglect, or biosecurity breaches to preserve bird health and welfare.
Follow company safety rules and use PPE.
