About The Position

The Ferrous Cashier supports daily yard operations at EMR’s Gulfport, Mississippi site by paying out customer tickets and interacting with customers. The role maintains accurate cash and check balances, records transaction data in manufacturing software, and keeps transaction-related files. The position is full-time and year-round.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Personal computer experience.
• Customer service skills.
• Effective spoken and written communication skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, physical, and drug screening.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Two years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting of cash and check balances.
• Provide customer service to dealers, vendors, and customers.
• Enter transaction data into manufacturing software.
• Maintain files associated with transactions.
• Pay out customer tickets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
