About The Position

The Ferrous Material Handler operates a material handler and/or grapple crane to move material. The role includes completing daily equipment reports, performing daily equipment maintenance and inspections, and following operating, health, and safety protocols. The position requires working independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively, managing time and multiple tasks, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Previous experience using a material handler and/or grapple crane is a plus.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to work in all elements, including rain, cold, and heat.
• Ability to handle stressful situations, manage time, and multitask.
• Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written form.

• Previous experience using a material handler and/or grapple crane.
