About The Position

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is a nationwide care provider delivering person-centred community care to help people live as independently and safely as possible. The Care Assistant supports clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity through physical and emotional support, assistance with daily living, and companionship. The vacancy is restricted to women because clients receiving intimate care may request a carer of a specific sex.

Requirements

Compassion, reliability, and a desire to help others; previous experience is not required, and training will be provided.
Driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one.
Up-to-date CV with full work history.
Must be a woman, as this vacancy is restricted due to the provision of intimate care and clients’ right to request a carer of a specific sex.

Responsibilities

Support clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
Prepare meals and assist with light domestic tasks.
Administer medication.
Provide emotional support and companionship.
Encourage clients to pursue hobbies and interests and maintain daily routines.
