About The Position

The Feed Mill Janitor cleans and supplies designated office areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces and restrooms, and emptying trash and recycling. The role also includes maintaining good housekeeping in service areas and completing other tasks assigned by management. The work is on the second shift at the Storm Lake Turkey Feed Mill. The successful candidate must be able to meet the physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation, and follow company safety and biosecurity requirements.

Requirements

Must not have more than 4 points when the request is reviewed.
Must not have received any disciplines in the last 6 months.
Able to work independently and with attention to detail.
Able to lift up to 30 pounds and repeatedly bend, stoop, squat, and twist.
Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments, with heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.
Able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required by demand scheduling.
Able to stand, sit, walk, and climb ladders or stairs, sustaining physical activity throughout the day.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Clean and supply designated office areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces and restrooms, and emptying trash and recycling cans.
Maintain good housekeeping, including in service areas.
Communicate with all levels of Operations, including customers and vendors, orally and in writing when required.
Follow and operate within Tyson Health and Safety protocols.
Follow safety procedures while working in elevated areas.
Sign and abide by company biosecurity guidelines, including agreeing to avoid any avian species.
Complete other tasks assigned by management.
