About The Position

The Feed Mill Janitor cleans and supplies designated office areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces and restrooms, and emptying trash and recycling. The role includes maintaining good housekeeping in service areas and completing other tasks assigned by management. The work is on 2nd shift at the Storm Lake Turkey Feed Mill. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements, with or without a reasonable accommodation, and follow company health, safety, and biosecurity requirements.

Requirements

Must not have more than 4 points at the time of review.
Must not have any disciplines in the last 6 months.
Able to work independently and attentive to detail.
Able to lift up to 30 lbs and repeatedly bend, stoop, squat, and twist.
Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments, with heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.
Able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required by demand scheduling.
Able to stand, sit, walk, and climb ladders or stairs, sustaining physical activity throughout the day.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Clean and supply designated office areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces and restrooms, and emptying trash and recycling.
Maintain good housekeeping, including in service areas.
Communicate orally and in writing with all levels of Operations, including customers and vendors, where required.
Follow and operate within all Tyson health and safety protocols.
Work safely in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures.
Sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines, including an agreement to avoid any avian species.
Complete other tasks assigned by management.
