About The Position

The Feed Delivery Driver provides accurate and efficient delivery of feed to destinations listed on assigned feed orders. The driver is expected to maintain good customer relations, follow applicable safety and transportation regulations, and represent Central Farm Service (CFS) professionally in actions and appearance. The role includes inspecting and maintaining equipment and completing other duties as requested by a supervisor or management. Requirements

Maintain a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification.
Meet insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines.
Have one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the job.

Responsibilities

Deliver feed accurately and efficiently to the destination indicated on the assigned feed order.
Perform deliveries in a manner that maintains good customer relations.
Comply with federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) scores.
Follow company safety policies and procedures, work safely, obey traffic laws, and comply with applicable OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance items to a supervisor.
Keep equipment operational and clean in appearance.
Represent CFS professionally in actions and appearance.
Perform other duties as requested by a supervisor or management.
