Join the Department for Public Health, Division of Maternal and Child Health, and make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of families across Kentucky. This position plays a key role in coordinating federally funded maternal health grants that support initiatives focused on perinatal quality, maternal mental health, and substance use, and serves as the primary liaison between the Division of Maternal and Child Health and relevant federal agencies. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and committed to advancing programs that strengthen maternal and infant health outcomes across the Commonwealth. This is a federally funded time-limited (FFTL) position. This means it is a position that is paid entirely as a result of a federal grant. The duration of employment shall not exceed the life of the federal grant that funds the position. An employee appointed to an FFTL position is required to meet the minimum requirements for the classification. Further, an employee appointed to an FFTL position is designated as an unclassified (non- merit) employee. An FFTL employee is eligible to receive benefits at the same level as a classified (merit) employee in a permanent position.
