About The Position
DocStar Medical Partners is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a locum opportunity at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in California. This position involves providing Family Medicine primary care services for all ages, covering for a permanent provider. The assignment is for 3 months, with the possibility of extension, starting June 15th. The FQHC typically schedules a higher number of patients to account for no-shows.
Requirements
- CA State License
- Board Certified (BC)
- Experience with FQHCs
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- 5-day work week commitment
Responsibilities
- Provide Family Medicine Primary Care
- Administer Preventive Health services
- Perform Immunizations
- Conduct Wellness Checks
- Manage Chronic Diseases
- Oversee Medication Management
- Cover for a permanent provider seeing all ages and bread/butter primary care.
