About The Position
DocStar Medical Partners is seeking a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a locum opportunity at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in California. The assignment is for 3 months, with the possibility of extension, starting May 26th. The provider will cover a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, managing a patient volume of approximately 18-20 patients per day. This role involves providing comprehensive primary care services for all ages, including preventive health, chronic disease management, and medication management. The facility utilizes the EPIC EMR system.
Requirements
- Valid California (CA) medical license.
- Board Certification (BC) required.
- Experience with FQHC settings.
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR system.
- Ability to work a 5-day work week (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
- Must be able to see all ages.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with "bread and butter" primary care.
Responsibilities
- Provide Family Medicine Primary Care services for all ages.
- Perform Preventive Health screenings and administer Immunizations.
- Conduct Wellness Checks.
- Manage Chronic Disease conditions.
- Oversee Medication Management.
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient charting and management.
