About The Position

One Medical is hiring a per diem, hourly Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a casual employee role serving patients across multiple office locations in San Francisco, California. The clinician will provide primary care for a broad range of patient needs, including acute, chronic, and wellness visits. This is not a panel-building role. Care will be provided in the office and occasionally through telehealth, with ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates and virtual clinical teams. Clinicians will use their specific clinical training and may perform in-office procedures. The role involves 8–23 patient care hours per week, and the work schedule may change based on business direction. Candidates must have completed an accredited NP or PA program and hold national certification. Within the past five years, they must have practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least two years in outpatient primary care, or for at least one year in outpatient primary care together with a one-year primary care fellowship or at least one year in urgent care. A California state license must be obtained by the One Medical start date. The hourly rate is $96.00; starting pay may vary based on practice experience and patient care schedule, and additional pay may be available for candidates exceeding the stated qualifications and requirements. One Medical offers clinicians malpractice coverage, an UpToDate subscription, a company-issued laptop for secure EHR access, sick time in accordance with California and local requirements, and an annual continuing medical education stipend. Other benefits described for regular team members working 24 or more hours per week include medical, dental, and vision plans, a 401(k) match, commuter benefits, paid leave, and additional programs; the posting does not state that these benefits apply to this role, which is listed at 8–23 patient care hours per week.
