About The Position

One Medical is hiring a per diem, hourly clinician to support its Bay Meadows office in San Mateo and other nearby offices. This casual employee role involves 8–23 patient care hours per week and is not a panel-building position. The clinician will see patients with a broad array of needs, including acute, chronic, and well visits, in the office and occasionally via telehealth. The role includes collaboration with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams, use of clinical training to perform in-office procedures, and willingness to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states. One Medical is a primary care solution focused on making quality care more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable. Its services include in-office and 24/7 virtual care, on-site labs, and preventive care, chronic care management, common illness, and mental health programs. One Medical joined Amazon in February 2023. The role requires completion of an accredited NP or PA program and national certification. Candidates must have practiced as an Advanced Practitioner in the past five years for at least two years in outpatient primary care, or one year in outpatient primary care together with either a one-year primary care fellowship or at least one year in urgent care. A California state license must be obtained by the One Medical start date. The hourly rate is $96.00; starting pay may vary based on practice experience and patient care schedule, and additional pay may be determined for candidates exceeding the stated qualifications and requirements. The total compensation package may also include benefits. Benefits eligibility for the broader package applies to regular team members working 24 or more hours per week and their dependents, beginning on the hire date.
