About The Position

One Medical is hiring a per diem Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for hourly clinical work in the Austin area. This casual employee role involves 8–23 patient care hours per week and is not eligible for benefits. The clinician will see patients with a broad range of needs, providing acute, chronic, and well visits rather than building a patient panel. Care is delivered in-office and occasionally through telehealth, with collaboration among in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams. The role uses the clinician’s specific training and may include in-office procedures. The hourly rate is $73.00. Starting pay may vary based on practice experience and patient care schedule, and additional pay may be available to candidates who exceed the stated qualifications and requirements. Schedule may change based on business direction. Casual/per diem/locums providers receive malpractice coverage, an UpToDate subscription, a company-issued laptop for secure EHR access, and sick time PTO eligibility in accordance with local requirements. One Medical describes a broader benefits package for regular team members working 24 or more hours per week and their dependents. This role is listed at 8–23 patient care hours per week and as benefits ineligible; therefore, those broader benefits are not stated as applicable to this role.
