One Medical is seeking a per diem Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its West Portal and surrounding San Francisco offices. This hourly casual clinician role involves 8–23 patient-care hours per week and is not a panel-building role. Clinicians see patients with a broad range of needs, providing acute, chronic, and well visits in the office, along with occasional telehealth visits. The role includes collaboration with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams, use of clinical training to perform in-office procedures, and willingness to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states. One Medical clinicians are committed to human-centered, evidence-based primary care; communicate effectively with people from all backgrounds; use technology to deliver high-quality care; and contribute to a team working to change healthcare delivery. They are open to feedback and reflection, able to navigate uncertainty, and ready to adapt their behavior to meet patient needs. The role requires completion of an accredited NP or PA program and national certification. Within the past five years, candidates must have practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least two years in outpatient primary care, or one year in outpatient primary care plus either a one-year primary care fellowship or at least one year in urgent care. California licensure must be obtained by the One Medical start date. The hourly rate is $96.00. Starting pay may vary based on practice experience and patient-care schedule, and additional pay may be available for candidates exceeding the stated qualifications and requirements. Benefits eligibility for regular team members and dependents begins on the hire date for those working 24 or more hours per week; this role is listed as 8–23 patient-care hours per week. The position includes malpractice coverage, an UpToDate subscription, and a company-issued laptop. Sick time is provided in accordance with California and local requirements. Additional listed benefits include a paid sabbatical after every five years of service, free One Medical memberships, an Employee Assistance Program, medical, dental, and vision plans, pre-tax commuter benefits, PTO cash-outs, a 401(k) match, emergency-childcare credit, paid maternity and paternity leave, paid life insurance, disability insurance, annual CME stipend, weekly rounds, and a discounted rate for the annual REAL primary care conference. Work schedules may change based on business direction.
