About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Family Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals in the Beeville, Texas practice area. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, visiting two to three facilities per day and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. This is a mobile practice covering facilities within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific electronic medical record. The position offers full-time and part-time schedules. Full-time physicians work four to five days per week, Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of either 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time physicians work at least three days per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. Physicians learn wound management from wound-certified physician trainers and fellowship directors and use current wound-care technologies and modalities. Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
Commit to at least three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
