About The Position
Ascension is hiring a Family Medicine Physician for an employed position in a busy, well-respected practice. The outpatient-only practice offers a strong referral base and support from the resources of Ascension Texas, a national nonprofit Catholic health system. The area is experiencing growth and has high demand for primary care providers. Specialists are available through the health system, with cardiology, general surgery, and orthopedics on site in Smithville each week. The practice serves a population of approximately 5,800 and features an onsite lab, Athena EMR, and an integrated referral network.
Requirements
- Licensed MD or DO credentialed by the Texas Medical Board before the hire date or job transfer date.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
