About The Position

One Medical is hiring a full-time Family Medicine Physician for its La Jolla office in San Diego, California. The role includes managing a broad patient panel across acute, chronic, and preventive care; seeing patients in the office and testing centers, with occasional telehealth visits; and using clinical training to provide in-office procedures. The physician participates in weekly Clinical Rounds, daily team huddles, and ongoing collaboration with in-office and virtual clinical teams. The role also supervises one or more nurse practitioner or physician assistant colleagues and requires willingness to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states. The schedule is described as four days in clinic and one day remote. Relocation assistance may be available. Requirements

Be enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics residency program.
Have practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+).
Be board certified in Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics, or board eligible with plans to obtain board certification within one year of starting at One Medical.
Hold a California state license before the One Medical start date.
Demonstrate a passion for human-centered primary care.
Communicate successfully with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds.
Effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care.
Demonstrate clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
Desire to contribute as an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

Manage a patient panel with a broad array of needs, including acute, chronic, and well visits.
Treat patients in-office or in testing centers and conduct occasional telehealth visits.
Participate in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities.
Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams.
Use specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures as appropriate.
Supervise one or more nurse practitioner or physician assistant colleagues.
Be willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states.
