About The Position

One Medical is hiring a full-time Family Medicine Physician to provide human-centered primary care in Darien, Westport, or New Canaan, Connecticut. The role includes managing a diverse patient panel and providing acute, chronic, and preventive care for patients of all ages. Care is delivered in office and testing centers, with occasional telehealth visits. The position involves collaboration with in-office and virtual clinical teams, ongoing clinical learning, and opportunities to perform in-office procedures. The physician will supervise one or more nurse practitioner or physician assistant colleagues and must be willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in other states. The advertised schedule is four days in clinic and one day remote. One Medical joined Amazon in February 2023 and describes its mission as making quality care more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable through in-office and virtual care services and preventive, chronic, and mental health programs. The position offers a base salary range of $273,500 to $327,000 for a full-time schedule; starting pay may vary based on experience and patient care schedule, and additional pay may be determined for candidates who exceed the stated qualifications. Eligible regular team members working 24 or more hours per week and their dependents can access benefits beginning on the date of hire. Requirements

Be enrolled in or have completed an accredited Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics residency program.
Have practiced for at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+).
Be board certified in Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics, or be board eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of the One Medical start date.
Hold a Connecticut state license before the One Medical start date.
Demonstrate a passion for human-centered primary care.
Be able to communicate successfully with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds.
Be able to use technology effectively to deliver high-quality care.
Demonstrate clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
Desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery.
Be open to feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into strengths and weaknesses.

Responsibilities

Manage a patient panel with a broad array of needs, conducting acute, chronic, and well visits.
Treat patients in office or in testing centers and conduct occasional telehealth visits.
Participate in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities.
Collaborate with in-office teammates through daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams.
Use clinical training and perform in-office procedures as appropriate.
Supervise one or more nurse practitioner or physician assistant colleagues.
Obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states as needed.
