About The Position
Carle Health is seeking an additional Family Medicine APP to join their team at the Curtis location in Champaign, Illinois. The APP will work with a collaborative team including a physician, another APP, nurse, and certified medical assistant to provide patient care in an ambulatory setting. Responsibilities include seeing patients for acute and chronic management, with a broad scope of patients including mostly adults and roughly 20% pediatrics. The role may involve in-office procedures and assisting with the collaborating provider's in-basket. Proficiency with EMR utilization is expected.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant.
- At least two years of Family Medicine APP experience required.
- Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure.
- Proficiency with EMR utilization.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in an ambulatory setting.
- See acute and chronic management patients.
- Manage a broad scope of patients including mostly adults and approximately 20% pediatrics.
- Utilize EMR systems proficiently.
