Family Medicine (Illinois Wesleyan) - Advanced Practice Provider
About The Position
Carle Health is seeking a Family Medicine advanced practice provider to join the Illinois Wesleyan Campus clinic in Normal, Illinois. This outpatient-only role serves the campus community and offers an opportunity to provide preventive care and education. The two-person clinic requires independent work, with virtual physician supervision available. The practice has EMR support and nearby multispecialty resources, and has strengths in mental health and family planning/women’s health. This is a school-year position, with work primarily aligned to the academic calendar. The provider works from August through April, plus one week in May, while compensation is distributed throughout the year, including summer months. Summer responsibilities are limited and include participation in Rising Titan Days, approximately 16 hours over summer break. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license and Advanced Practice Nurse licensure, or Physician Assistant licensure.
- Ability to work independently in a two-person clinic.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient family medicine care to the Illinois Wesleyan campus community.
- Provide preventive care and serve as an educator for the campus community.
