Advanced Practice Provider – Family Medicine – Spring Creek
About The Position
Sentara Medical Group is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join Sentara Spring Creek Family Medicine in Zion Crossroads, Virginia, just outside Charlottesville. The practice serves a diverse, growing rural community and has an established multigenerational patient population. The provider will work with a collaborative team of four physicians and two advanced practice providers in an outpatient-focused practice with scheduling flexibility and dedicated administrative time. The full-time schedule is four or five days per week, with 36 patient-facing hours and four administrative hours. Average patient volume is 16–18 patients per day. Call is shared and minimal; a 24/7 nurse triage team is used first. The practice uses Epic and DAX Copilot AI for patient transcription. Sentara offers a comprehensive benefits and retirement package. The posted full-time base salary range is $121,596.80–$142,792.00 annually. Additional compensation may be available through items such as on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range depends on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
Requirements
- Active nurse practitioner or physician assistant credential.
- Master’s degree or higher.
- Experience is preferred, but exceptional new graduates will be considered.

Responsibilities
