Advanced Practice Provider – Family Medicine – Providence Road
About The Position
Sentara Medical Group is hiring an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for its established Sentara Family Medicine practice at the Providence Road location in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The supportive, dynamic clinic cares for a multigenerational patient population and includes seven physicians and four advanced practice providers. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with 36 patient-contact hours and four administrative hours per week. Schedule options are 7 a.m.–4 p.m. or 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Providers see an average of 16–18 patients per day. There is no call and no weekend work. The practice uses Epic as its integrated EHR and DAX Copilot AI for patient transcription. The position offers a market-competitive compensation package, with a stated full-time base pay range of $121,596.80–$142,792 annually. Additional compensation may be available through incentives or other opportunities. The role also includes comprehensive benefits and provider-specific benefits such as an annual CME allowance and malpractice and tail coverage.
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) credentials.
- Master’s degree.
- At least one year of experience as an advanced practice provider.
