YOUTH VILLAGES, INC.•Fayetteville, NC
•$58,000 - $66,000•Onsite

About The Position

Youth Villages is hiring a Family Intervention Specialist for its Intercept® program, an evidence-based, intensive in-home service designed to help keep families together by preventing out-of-home placements or supporting reunification. The program serves youth from birth through age 18 who face serious emotional or behavioral challenges or have experienced trauma, including abuse or neglect. Services are delivered in families’ homes and communities rather than in an office. Specialists provide strength-based, individualized support using evidence-based mental health interventions and help families develop parenting and communication skills. The role carries a caseload of four to six families and involves individual and family sessions three times per week, scheduled around families’ availability. Specialists assess youth needs, collaborate with other providers, case workers, and courts on treatment plans, and provide on-call crisis support. The work includes regular professional-development meetings and training, timely documentation in an electronic medical record, and travel to families’ homes and communities. The schedule is flexible and non-traditional. Salary is $58,000–$66,000, based on education and clinical licensure.
