About The Position

VillageMD is seeking a Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join its Cypress North clinic at 12314 Jones Road, Houston, Texas. The physician will provide outpatient primary care within a physician-led, patient-centric network focused on connected, high-quality care and improved outcomes. VillageMD supports physicians through local and national physician leadership, reduced administrative burden, trained support staff, an optimized electronic medical record with telehealth capability, and care management and population health teams.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of clinical outpatient experience after residency.
• Current, unrestricted Texas state license or eligibility for licensure.
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Active registration or eligibility to register with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
• Active Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligibility to enroll.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Comfort with an electronic medical record (EMR) system; Athena experience is preferred.
